Lamar Miller became a trusted, versatile back for the Miami Dolphins, producing in both the rushing and passing game during his tenure with the team.

The Miami native stayed home after the Dolphins selected him in the fourth round of the 2012 NFL Draft, producing 3,817 yards of total offense and scoring 22 total touchdowns during his four-year stint. Overall, he ran for 2,930 yards and 19 touchdowns on 638 carries, while catching 117 passes for 887 yards and three touchdowns as a Dolphin.

Miller didn't get much play his rookie year, sitting behind Reggie Bush and Daniel Thomas in 2012. After Bush departed ahead of the next season, Miller shared time in the backfield with Thomas, rushing for 709 yards and two touchdowns despite carrying the ball 177 times.

In his third, and best, season in Miami, Miller toted the rock 216 times for a career-high 1,099 yards, eclipsing 1,000 yards for the first time since Bush did in 2011. During that season, Miller scored eight rushing touchdowns, while adding 275 yards and a receiving score.

After falling short of the 1,000-yard mark with 872 yards and another eight touchdowns in 2015, Miller signed a four-year contract with the Houston Texans.

Unfortunately for Miller, his efforts came on the back of four straight .500 or worse seasons. In his first year with the Texans, Miller broke 1,000 yards for the second and final time of his career. In three years with the Texans, Miller had four more rushing yards than the entirety of his time in Miami.

Despite mediocre performances by the Dolphins as a whole, Miller was a bright spot on a team that failed to surpass eight wins in any season from 2009 through 2015.

Check back in tomorrow to see who lands in the No. 21 spot of the 25/25/25 rankings.
